Heater hose pipe under intake manifold?

My truck started leaking anti freeze the other day. I traced the leak to the pipe under the intake manifold. I have the new pipe, and the old one off. It had some kinks in the pipe that look like from the factory. But that is where it is leaking. It must have vibrated enough to crack it there, about a 1/4" crack. But- I also ordered the little short pipe that the heater pipe fits onto. The one behind the water pump with O-rings. Of course, for some BS reason it didn't come in with my order on Saturday. So I have no clue as to how it is installed in the block. I tried to press it out, with no luck. It won't budge. It looks to be rather thick material, so I decided I would start to re-assemble the motor. Well, of course, the dealer only gave me one O-ring, and 2 are required. I can't win. Has anyone ever replaced that little pipe before? It sticks out under the intake about 1 1/2", and goes thru the block and into where the water pump is.
