1975 f100 4x4 4" lift

lookin to buy a skyjacker 4" lift for my f100 it has a dana 44 up front and 9inch in the rear. power steering and converted to power brakes.. had a few questions before I order. i have a what looks like a stock block on my rear axle (shown) and was wondering if the block that comes with the kit is a replacment or if i need to buy all new leafs. The existing ones look good.

I have done some snooping around on the site before I posted and it seems like a 4 inch lift still lets me use my existing drivelines but if anyone has any other input about the lift or drivelines will be much appreciated.

thanks

Depends which Skyjacker kit you're considering, some kits eliminate the block all together, the lesser kits do not. In either case just follow the directions and you'll be golden.

if i buy this set up, will i have to stack with what looks like their blocks with mine? if so that doesn't seem like the best option. the kit with new leafs in it is about double the price. (this one going for about 450) should i just bit the bullet and save up the money for the leaf kit or will this work alright as a daily driven truck that i take to Hollister about 6 times a year?

another thought i had was to piece together a lift consisting of 90% skyjacker and just buying a cheaper set of leafs from another compnay such as rough country ect.

thanks for the input.
