Stant 10503
Summit sez a 2008 Ford e250 5.4 uses a 10503 Stant.
I have 2 Stants and one ?...None work as lighting the fuel warning LED or smell.
Odd is there were 2 prior locking caps, both worked. I lost keys for both at no time for searching so pried the caps off with vice grips.
I look to the fuel filter for replacement this week.
Two working and 3 not...could be a tertiary cause.
Ford does not offer a locking cap for an E250 listing nor does Stant sell a metal capped cap.
Using a locking cap partly solves a security problem. A thru gas door into cargo threaded rod is probable.
Drilled/tapped the gas door for security screws. Next trip to Walmart, the mechanics poured gas into the door area.

2008 FORD E250 USES A
510 STANT locking gas cap.
Summit catapulted 2 my way. One is mounted and great ! doesn't leak. Not a whisper of toxic injury causing fumes.
DUH,,,the new cap is of course the same as a Ford OEM non-locking cap 'cept the top which has what on it ?
The 503 is not a duplicate of a 2008 ...cap.
