tow package wiring harness
without going through a dealer, does anyone know where I can get a tow package wiring harness. I have seen some on the net, but they are not the same as I have. also I don't really need the plug adaptor, I already bought that. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

I just bought the truck a couple of mo. ago, and I far as I know this thing was working. the person that had the truck before me liked to go off road and in the mud, so I think that's what has caused this problem. like the old saying goes, u live, u learn, lol.

If you have the part number and/or the exact terminology Ford uses (e.g. "OIL INDICATOR ASSY" for what normal people would call a "transmission dipstick"), you might be able to find a discounted new Ford part from a dealer online, cheaper than your local dealer. I needed the aforementioned dipstick, list price $45, local dealer in PA wanted $60, found one on Ebay from a dealer in Iowa for $31 shipped.
