TITLE HISTORY FOR BRONCO WITH 11 CHARACTER VIN
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET A FULL TITLE HISTORY FOR VEHICLES OLDER THAN 1981. I AM HAVING A HECK OF TIME TRYING TO GET HISTORY ON MY 79 BRONCO THAT I AM REBUILDING BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE THE 17 CHARACTER VIN. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Never mind -- just reread your post
My neighbor told me that older vehicles had something called a build sheet -- it had all the specs now put into the VIN. He claimed that the factory would stick it in some crevice inside the cabin.
I've never see one, nor have I heard that anywhere else, but it could be true. Might be worth a couple of hours digging around to see if you could find such a thing.

Build sheets were common in the early days. I have seen many. Many times they are under the seat & various places. Most don't survive these many years. If things like seats have been changed no telling.
What are you wanting to know? Many things maybe able to be answered by the people on the Bronco board.
