Ok guys help me out I just bout a 2012 f150 with the 5.0. And the trucks runing good. But ive noticed a clicking sound when I accelerate. It doesnt do it in neutral. Ive lookd for exasust leaks and cant find any. Any help sure whould be appreciated. Thanks blake

 

A friend of mine had a ujoint go bad on his F150 and it would make a clicking on acceleration. It was evident until we put it in neutral, and check the joints before we found it.

 

I had an older truck with 75000 miles do that also it sounded like a card in a bike tire and it was the rear u joint truck was a 2000 4x4 F150
