That I must be "compensating for something" because I drive a rig like mine.

Why do I have to be anything more than someone who enjoys having a solid axle, diesel SUV?

Now that's just wrong. The Prius only seats 5.

That I should have bought a diesel because of the fuel cost savings.
"But it would have cost me about $7000 more...I can buy a lot of gas for $7000"
"Ya but you would have saved so much on fuel you should have bought a diesel"
"Ya but the payoff is about 10 years for how much I drive it, I did the math"

My boss told me it "looked like a bus", then a week later when he has family in town for his sons wedding they were driving his Range Rover and Audi. I asked if both vehicles went to the same place and he said yes because they all (7) wouldn't fit in one vehicle. I told him he needed our "bus"

You should have bought four wheel drive and a diesel! Just think of all the places you could have gone and saved fuel while doing it!

My uncle told me I bought the wrong vehicle. No one likes Excursions. He said I should've bought the Suburban if I wanted a big SUV. Everybody likes Suburban.

I dont know how many times i've been asked how big the gas tank is, they always ask again when i say 44 gallons. When they start asking about the MPG i just point to the license plate (8 mpg) and say nothing. I've had a few say how can you afford that..blah blah, i just say its all about priorities!!
