The opening is probably ~1/2", but being rubber will have some give. The opening is centered in the larger rubber grommet which could be removed if necessary... it is likely 1 1/2" by 3"?

 

Oh, ok. We should be able to use that for everything.

 

Guys - I put together a draft plan for working on David's truck, which happens in just over two weeks. See what you think and give me upgrades and suggestions, please.

 

Wow! I feel quite honored that anyone would spend so much time, energy and talent to enhance the performance of my truck. I doubt that anyone has done such an in depth study on the humble "little" 6 banger.

Not only do I hope to see improvements in performance and mileage, but perhaps this data can act as a template to assist others who are interested in fuel efficiency while driving a full sized truck.
