2014 F-150 wheel question
Alright guys heres my questions. I have a new 2014 F-150 Screw with a 5.0. Awesome btw. So my question is what are the 18" wheel specs? Specifically offset? I need to get more clearance fo chains in the front. (Before you rattle off some smart *** answer about good tires or being a better driver blah blah, I live in Montana and sometimes chains all the
way around are necessary)
my next question is whether or not I can get away with running 17" on it? I have the tow max, with all the sensors and stuff so I figured maybe it needed the 18's to clear the brakes.
What size negative offset would I need to get enough clearance? My plan is to buy my favorite cooper discoverer st on a set of negative offset wheels and run them in the winter. Anyone ran into this? Thanks in advance.

Keep the 18"s. Not worth the risk of trying to run 17"s.
Stock wheels are +44mm on the offset. You'll probably want something in the +18mm to +20mm range to provide clearance for the chains. Some run chains without issues on the stock wheel/tire combos. From what I can tell with most guys running aftermarket wheels...+18mm will put your outer tire edge about even with the fender lip.
