Carburetor Identification
Hi, I just bought a 67 f100. It has a 460 out of a 71 crown vic or grand marques. Can anyone tell me what kind of Holly this is so I can get a rebuild kit? It is stamped with List-3310-2 2D45. Not sure if that is a "D" or a "0". Also in the second picture you can see an aluminum tubed wrapped in a braded cotton of some sort. It comes out of the carb and loops around the exhaust manifold and doesnt go anywhere. What is the purpose of it?

The heat tube supplies hot air to the choke .. Some electric chokes although electric still require a hot air source .. Your carb's model number is a 4160 .. Get a Holley brand kit for a 4160 don't use any other substitute .. It does matter
The 3310-1 is actually a 4150 carb, because its got a metering block (removeable jets) on the secondaries. The 3310-2 through 6 are 4160 style, because they use a metering plate for the secondaries (non-removeable jets).
