my 06 SD has factory compass that displays on the cluster the gyro for it is mounted behind the rear view mirror

i am considering changing the mirror to a mirror with video monitor in it and have been told doing so may eliminate the gyro mount

wondered if anyone hare has experience changing the mirrors when rig has the gyro

did u make new gyro mount? find mirror mount that incorporated the gyro?

don't want to use a clip over mirror
