Boost sounds about right but when it drops to 20 I'm wondering if the boot off the turbo is collapsing?

Do you still have the orange boot from the intake side of the turbo

Um...you need to get a riffraff intake boot and a 6637 style intake.the stock box was leak prone as well as the boot.

As well as that I seem to recall reading that the orange boot can collapse on higher boost levels

I don't think you could. You would have to see iti a loss of boost situation which I do t think you'll see parked or find anyone willing to watch while moving.

Just pull the orange boot off and take a short test driven.
Personally the orange boot is a liability regardless.they were junk new.ford sold a kit that retrofitted obs to SD style intake because it was failure prone!

Probably one of the best. He has a great price on the filter but remember to get the turbo boot as well
