2005 Freestyle AC and Power Seat ?s

My wifes 2005 Freestyle AC seems to be lacking a bit at idle vs. moving. I have read the scroll valve replacement threads thinking this may be the problem, thoughts?

Second issue is the driver power seat will not move forward back. It does move up and down but not well. I am thinking motor, possibly switch or crap in the seat track, but am not sure how to test to verify before I start throwing parts at it. Any body got some tips on diag?

Thanks for any help that you can offer!
