Iola Show and Swap Meet

Anybody going to the Iola show and swap meet next week? I'll be there in the camp ground Wednesday night probably through the weekend. Mark and Ryan (thundersnow70 and 63flareside) are coming in I know. I'll be in the campground somewhere near the showers in the maroon Club Wagon. Drop by if you want. Probably will be something cold in the cooler. Also if you are selling please post your location. Stu

I doubt you would get into trouble Josh, I have managed to stay out of trouble the last couple years so if I can do it you can to! The countdown has begun. Hope the weather is good for us, if its raining there like it has been here that club wagon is gonna get a few extra guests.
On a side note Josh, can you text me your address again? I dropped my phone and all the info that was in it is gone. Thanks

I'll be there, we will be setup in the far NW corner, not sure what we'll bring to sell I'm there more for checking out the show cars, and hopefully buying stuff I need for the F1. Last year I brought a nice front clip from a F8 (1950), but there was no interest so I won't be hauling all of that again this year.

Far north west corner? Looking at the map would you be near Gate 7 along the highway, or down in the hollow near Gate 8? Whichever, will try to look you up. Stu

Not really close to gate 8, but rather in section AT, west of gate 7, we are 2 spots from the road.

Had this weekend penciled in back in May, but unfortunately my preferred schedule never trumps the work schedule.

As always I would like to go but I doubt it. No work=no money. Hopefully that will change in a week but too late for Iola.

I would think I-90 for the main then trust your gps once in WI. Aim for Stevens Point then follow Rt 10 to Rt 161 then follow the signs to Iola. Internet service isn't great there so I'll pm you and see if we can swap texts and phone numbers. Stu

I can just see my better half going to a swap meet! Much less one that covers the acres that Iola covers. Good for your wife. Sounds like you're local. If you want to meet up with the others of us send me a note. Stu

Hey, its only 21.5 hrs drive for me. I could probably load up the truck with enough wheels to pay for the trip, (if i knew anyone there would buy them)
Last swap meet in went to to sell i unloaded about 20 5 on 5.5" 16" wheels. All with the innie hub cap nubs. Of course i was darn near giving them away, everyone around here must be almost as cheap as me!

I've been able to drag my wife to a couple of swap meets, a couple of Jeffersons and one Iola. She'd rather wallow in ankle deep cow crap that spend a day with me at a swap meet. Now if it was a day of looking at the business end of 100-150 cows at an auction then she'd do that. Personally, if you see one cow you've seen them all.
