I have a great flash that I use. It is a bounce flash. I can adjust teh angle from 180* vertical to a slight downward angle. Works very well for me. I also have 4 lens filters for my one lens which help to create different effects. One is a diffuser which gives a nice light pattern. I also have a yellow number 80 filter which helps with lighting control, a blue 80 filter which is for lighting control and to filter out not so good light. And I also have a polarizer which I use when it is very bright outside.

 

Do you do any professional stuff for people? Weddings, modeling shoots, car shows, etc?

 

No I dont Tim. Just do it for fun as a small hobby. I will take pics of stuff at reenactments from time to time for my unit but that is the extent of what I will do for the most part. Maybe if a friend asked me to do something I would depending on what it is.

 

Figured if you had some dollars tied up in it, you might be able to make a few bucks on the side.

 

I do have some money in it but nothing too major. The one lens I have came with my 35 when I bought it from the pawn shop. I have just bought stuff as needed as I have gone along. I have a pawn shop near my house that I check for stuff on occasion to see if they have any lenses or cameras for that matter.

 

I usually try to catch stuff on sale if I can. Cuts down on the cost of things. If i had my DSLR with me I could take a pic of some of the stuff I have for it.

 

eBay I bet too.

I still say you should set up a little studio at the house and invite some ladies over for modeling shoots

 

That could be fun if I were to do it Tim. I just found a nice telephoto lens on Amazon. On sale right now for under 900.Wish I had the extra money at the moment. But then I would have to buy a bigger camera bag for my DSLR. My current bag is so full it wont hold anything else.

Me either. I have returned a few things as well and it was super easy. Very happy.

 

So far I havent had to return anything I have bought. I bought my DSLR from one of the vendors on Amazon. Will gladly buy from them again. Got a nice deal. included an extra battery, memory card, bag, cleaning stuff, and a lens.
