No it isnt Tim. I just looked at one on Nikons website. Lets just say I can make a heck of a nice down payment on a F350 Dually crew cab long bed with a diesel for what the lens costs. The lens costs 17,900 bucks.

AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR

Every hobby has their premium products I guess.

Thats what I am thinking Tim. I have about 20 rolls of 35mm film I still need to get developed. Hard part is most places are no longer doing that. Getting harder to find 35mm film as well.

If I had the room to set up a darkroom and the equipment I could do it Tim. An art class I took back in high school ( it was required for graduation) taught me photography and how to develop my own film and print them. The teacher I had for that class was also the schools photography teacher. I wonder if I could talk to the photography professors here to see if I could do it here at work.

That would be helpful. Guess if you can't find the film it won't make any difference anyway.

No it wont Tim. I have pretty much decided I am retiring the 35mm since film is disappearing quickly. I will still hang on to it though.

Probably a good idea. There will probably be a hard core group that will flock to it.

I wish they were Tim. Sadly they charge. The developing chemicals are not cheap.
