That's called a "Cruise Book". I had several of them, and for some incomprehensible reason my estranged wife took them too when she ran off - though God knows how in hell she could have possibly thought they were HERS...

She's a weird woman I swear. She'd steal a pile of horse droppings if she thought someone else had a use for it.

Happy Tuesday everybody!

Cruise Book----that's it! It's pretty cool.

Sometimes people take things for hurt value more than monetary value. If karma kicks in, she'll get many paper cuts from them.

FYI: I found homes for all my extra tobacco plants

I spent today fixing a buddies mailbox and chopping my way up into a maple tree.

* I may build a tree platform in that tree before it is all over with

The only way I can trim the higher branches is to build a ladder on the tree itself - like I once did to make tree-forts....

If I have to do that, I might as well make something I can enjoy at the same time. A place where I can look all around from.

*Do a search about "TREE HOUSES"
It's interesting.

**The creator sees everything we do, even after our bodies are left behind. I believe "POLTERGIESTS" are people who have died and did not go to the light as they were supposed to.
From fear maybe, of what they did wrong in life - can you imagine that?

For instance they suddenly think:
"Oh NO! God isn't going to accept me - and IT IS REAL!!!"
And so disembodied spirit forms loiter here...

Certainly "KARMA" is a thing we should all be very observant of.

I have said before that this life on Earth is a school.

I don't want to FLUNK it

Yer tellin' me... I almost busted my (A) yesterday - up in a maple tree with a buzz-saw cutting a ten inch diameter limb, and it began to lean the wrong way.

Fool thing took out the extension ladder I used to climb up into the crotch of the next branches up and left me twenty feet in the air.

~ It's been so hot I can at best spend three or four hours outdoors doing the things I have to get done, and then it takes at least 48 hours to recover!

Well, maybe six hours, come to think. I've fried my shoulders so bad a few times this week I couldn't wear a shirt on top of it. I'm pushing myself out the door so that I can get half-way aclimated to it, but I damned sure couldn't do roofing like I once did...

Age is catching up to us....I spent about 3 hours weeding gardens and mowing the yard on Saturday and I'm STILL sore in places.

I was given a wonderful gift that I turned into an everlasting one: the neighbor gave me 3 large, ripe Black Krim tomatoes! We ate them for dinner AND I saved about 50-100 seeds for next year's garden. I will then save those seeds for the following year, etc., etc.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Low to mid eighties around the western end of the place - I turned up some music from the garage system and cleaned up the limb I dropped two days ago, the one that nearly left me up a tree.

Two MORE days and I'll be in the money again. I have to start keeping a cash reserve, so the priority list is going to come out again.

PRI ONE: Car.
PRI TWO: Lawn tractor and line trimmer. (both need carburettors thanks to shoddy fuel)

~I burned up the head on the electric trimmer I had and good riddance. I'll never buy a Toro product again!

The place is starting to get back to normal after the tree damage this last winter, just a bit farther to go.
