What I know is that it hasn't been turned over in 2 years. Has custom interior that is mint. Some kind of racing seats. Has chrome after market rims. The body needs paint and it needs new tires. Only paid $600


The guy I bought it off said his Uncle was a well known builder of race cars. He just wanted it out of his drive way. Has a 1988 5.0l HO.


What do you guys think?

Haven't had much time with it yet. Bought it and had it towed to my shop on Sunday. Monday was busy and today is a holiday. We're going to trying to get it running tomorrow. Will post some more pics..

 

The V8 into a Ranger has been done, and it was found to be lacking.
The main issue is that the weight distribution is all messed up, too heavy in front, too light in the rear.

Good price to buy at 900. Let's find out why it doesn't run

 

It was a $600 dollar buy. Starting to look like I'm not even going to get a chance to play with it. Had 2 offers on it already for much more than I pain for it.

That's what the guys at the shop said too. The offer fell through so I still own it. We're going to try and fire it up tomorrow. Shop was just too crazy today.

Engine swap was a clean install. No mickey mouse job. Going to take a stab are starting it up.

 

Think the fuel pump is jammed up. Had to feed it manually, but heard it run. Needs a tune up. Hoping the seals are good still. Couldn't get it hot enough to find out for sure.
