That's a good bit of time John.

Bill, I decided it won't take long to set up this year at all truck, so no need to spend an extra day prepping.

 

I hear that one. For me it's about final checks on the truck. If anything, saves me a night in the hotel if I stay home til Friday morning.

John - I went from "part time" (even though I was working well over 50 hrs a week) to full time back in June, and the way they prorated me was odd. I ended up with limited amount of hours as a result - I am to have 3 weeks time off, but didn't get there. Sweating out how to pull off the Indianapolis trip right now...

Same, trying to get some motivation to dive into some review work.

 

My mind is on everything else that's going on right now. Not on work. Just finished up shop drawings for a small job just west of here though.

Yay. Now I get to head to DC tomorrow...and somehow transport 12' ladders...ugh.

 

Lucky you! Just throw them on your back and go.

 

HA! That's a long hike with a 12' ladder.

And the only trucks our rental company has are 6' beds. Gonna go up after I finish lunch and see them to see if I can make this work. A closed van won't happen - not enough cabin space.

 

Time to do some running... be back shortly.

 

Just went to the rental place...made a van work...thankfully.
