I have a question. Can the seal glue be removed easy? I bought a truck with new door rubber but the applicator person made a real mess of the areas that don't need glue. Acetone? or anything like that help me with cleanup?

You might try goo gone, if that doesn't work 3m makes a adhesive remover part # 6041

 

I'll second the 3M remover----it would be the safest method. Acetone will work but even on newer paint finishes it can be a bit harsh.

Typically that glue is a form of contact cement, most usually 3M's Super Weatherstrip Adhesive---their remover should work perfectly. NAPA either has or can quickly order it, use the number Susie provided.
