I finally got the toolkit for the PID app, and have built the sample with his default PID.. all looks good..

now, I need the latest set of PID info so I can put it into the AP build.
in the short term I will make the app installable from my dropbox account.
I will post the link here and the steps to install when I get it built.

here is the list of PID's I assembled from the two optics on FTE plus the Torque pro app site..

anyone see something missing?

ECT is not working (truck just started, but the outside temp is 101, so It should show something.

rest match my hand entered pids from a few weeks ago. (displays side by side)

sdetweil: Great work.

Sorry that I don't have time to add or check right now.

The ECT won't work with the 7E0 header I believe, try and see?

no problem.. just trying to help you in my little way..

fantastic!.. ECT works now.. thought that might have been a typo.

Plugin app is ready to test

download from here on your android device
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0vt2qmh2zm...erDutypids.apk

you must enable download from unknown sources (not just the Google Play store), but it will install directly after that.My Note 3 prompted me when I downloaded

when you open Torque Pro, go to the Get Plugins, and it should be listed last as 'Ford Superduty 6.7'
(and shown in the application manager next to Torque Pro.)
Later to install a new version, you will uninstall the plugin app, and start again

go back to the Adapter Status icon,
then click settings (left button, settings)
select Manage extra PIDs/Sensors
select left button
select Add predefined set
select Ford Superduty 6.7
done

do back to Realtime Information on the front screen
and then add displays..
the titles all have 6.7 at the end. the PID list is alphabetical.

let me know what does/doesn't work..

Sam

this a custom application which only works on android with Torque-Pro. I searched and didn't see any way to batch create user defined PIDs in ODBWiz.

if you can help out with that info I might be able to get this data in that format.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that I recently completed a cross country trip with my toyhauler in tow and was monitoring my soot levels. Obviously, while towing, my soot levels were already quite low and then every 500 miles when the truck went into regen regardless of soot level, the app showed my soot percent going into the negatives. A few times it went down to -9%. This leads me to believe that there may be a slight error in the equation.

Unfortunately I'm not tech savvy enough to rework it, but I figured I would post my results here for the experts.

Dave.

Thanks for the report. Everyone’s input helps.

The equation could be made not to show negative numbers or over a 100%. The thing is that during testing I needed to see the maximum and minimum PCM response. The PCM programming when conditions are met goes through a calibration to set a baseline due to residual ash build up in the DPF. You will see this in the bottom end when a Passive Regen continues after an Active Regen. I believe it is none the next engine start cycle?? Some folks wanted to see the Soot to continually decrease after an Active Regen so I changed the equation back. The 500 miles also has variables that have to be met, most likely when pulling a trailer they are. It is when you are not; the PCM might subtract mileage from the counter. This is why some folks go longer without Regen; I’ve seen it and have Ford documents that state it.

I had a regen last sunday.. left the house to fill up my aux tank, soot at 78%
miles since last regen = 129
stop at gas station, 17 miles away
restart truck, mile since regen 146
drove to lowes (2 miles), soot at 85%
came back out, started truck, miles since regen 393! (from expected 148!)
knew regen was going to start
made it 1/2 mile, and it came on. took highway home.
regen turned off at 18% soot, fell to -5 then back to 7

The EGT temps of 100 to 400 mean 1000 to 4000? Is there a way to change to something more like 500, 1000, 1500, 2000? Their isn't much accuracy with numbers of 1000 and 2000

Thanks
