Looking for suggestions on a fuel tank swap for my 53 F-100. I know this is not the 53 forum but I'm getting no response there. Anyway I have seen the mustang tank swap but I'm looking for a side fill tank where the Mustang is a back fill through the bed floor. Any suggestions' build ics of a side fill tank between the rear frame rails?

A coupla things to be mindful of:

1. TP Daniels' (4x4) filler is via the rear fender well. No so good on a 2wd. Below is a pic of a 69 coming up through the bed but filled through bed rail with a pop-up cap.

2. The rear crossmember has to be moved back. The tank is about 25 inches long (fore and aft) so plan accordingly for the bumper mount and other hardware.
