body question

So I've been looking for a new body for my '96 XLT since I feel the underside is a little more rusted than I wamt to fix.

My question is, which year bodies are the same? I know front ends 92-96 fit so is that the same year for bodies or would a late 80s model work the same?

An 80-96 body will work, everything will bolt on the same, if you buy a 80-86, and want want to keep the 92-96 front end, you need to change the quarter panels because the arch over the wheels is a different shape

Quarters won't matter to me since they will be swapped out down the road for FiberwerX ones.
