Does anyone know if a power brake booster from a 1989 F150 will work in a 1984 F150? I have a 84 that has a vacuum leak and my buddy has a 89 booster.

 

Car-part shows a 1988 fitting. Go to a site like autozone or someplace like that and punch in one for your truck and write down the part number. Then punch in one for a 89 like you want to install and see if the same number comes up.

 

They look very close in size, but the shell is stamped a little different. I'll look at Rockauto's site
