So on Ford Trucks Facebook page it looks like they have NBCSteve's truck in a picture...beautiful truck...

Anyways. The question was guess the year and model..

You should see some of the answers people have, and arguing they were right. My son and I were having a laugh reading them...... the people that had 79 Highboy 4X4's with HO 460's is quite surprising.

Very nice truck, I thought it was a 79 f150 ranger but it's evidently a f350? Looked like 5 bolt wheels in the pic.

That page makes me embarrassed to be a member here. 99% of the comments are either WRONG or bashing Chevy. I'm not just talking in that thread, I looked through several.

It was pretty hard to read the comments. The 79 High-boy comments were pretty hilarious though... An F-150 with a Dana 60 front? Righttttt

A quote from a well versed FTE member: "Also just to clarify the square headlights did start on the 78 model trucks. The base and custom package trucks came with the round headlights in 78 and the rangers, ranger xlt, and lariat trucks came with the square headlights".
