I hope all is well soon and you can all rest easy. It is amazing how a new life can overcome such odds. Sending our best to him.

 

Prayers for the little one and the family as well. Rest in the fact that he is receiving excellent care and they know what they are doing. Great advances in the last few years regarding neo-natal intensive care. My nephew's son was born 4 months early, weighed a little over a pound, and was only 11 inches long. You've never seen something that small. 4+ months in NICU and a boatload of prayers before he got to come home. Now a happy, healthy toddler who is developing normally. Hang in there. He will be teething on the steering wheel of your truck in no time.

 

Thank you all for your compassion and support! It speaks volumes about the caliber of the folks on this site.......most of you I have never met.
Sharing your own experiences helps too, since I am the worrying type.

Little Bentley's condition is improving, but he's still in ICU. I look forward to seeing and holding him soon.
Will update as soon as I know anything.

Hi all,

I just got an in update from my daughter. Little Bentley is much improved as of today! He is breathing on his own now and also eating. Still needs to stay in the hospital for a bit, but hopefully will be home soon. He's a fighter for sure. We are all very relieved, especially mom and dad.

I want to thank everyone again for their prayers and concern!
