Updated Torque PIDs

I do. I've found that if running Torque and a GPS app that the device will still run down the tablet battery when plugged in to a 2 amp USB port. I turn off the display when I can to extend the run time. I think I end up around 25% of battery life after 6 or so hours.

Little-known secret: Not all cords handle the 2.1 amps, and sometimes the ones rated that high start to fade out (connector likely the culprit). I had a problem with my Nexus 7 battery fading - until I replaced the factory cord.

I posted something almost word-for-word a long time ago. I have the formula somewhere in my computer, but I never finished that project.

Shouldn't be any problem if you are using Bluetooth for connecting to your OBDII adapter like many of us are for Torque Pro
I do it with my phone all the time

alright..something went haywire when installing the new/upgrade PID's....EGP, MGP and redid some of the equations. Now my truck wont idle. Tried unplugging/replugging B.T. and turning phone off/on to reboot. Still the same wonky idle/dying. Turn T.P. off, and truck back to normal...HELP

quick question..
does installing a ts chip cause any issues with the bluetooth OBD and reading the inputs on torque app..
plugged my OBD in and get a light but not able to connect, password is 1234 right, and the torque app links with OBD but OBD did not connect with PCM.
or did i not wait long enough for the PMC to connect with OBD device..??
how long does it take usually to connect to PCM..

I had a hiccup with EOT that I couldn't clear. I ultimately uninstalled the app, reinstalled, then programmed all the PIDs by hand again. It was a PITA, but everything has been stable since then.
Results vary, but it can be as quick as this:

That screen should give you an idea what is going on, Bluetooth connectivity, OBDII, fast/normal communication, etc.
Maybe post a screenshot of that screen (or 2, it's pretty long)

ok, i'll try that...whats wierd is, when i installed the MGP formula, the EGP showed up. Nowhere on my screen is MGP..i wonder if using these new formulas for other "programmed" pid's, also did something. i want to say, icp or duty or changing "us" to "mg" and giving "mg" is parameters, also did something...thinking now, im gunna T.D. her (torque dump ), and start over.....
carl...try with key in acc position. I had same symptom, 4 bluetooths later, it finally worked, lol. Think, i was always tryn with key not in correct startup...once she grabs, its a few seconds of syncing.
