Unhappy Engine fusebox replacement

I have a 2008 Expy that won't start. I thought the problem was the fuel pump as the fuel pump fuse under the hood kept blowing. Dealer has traced it to an intermittent short in the fuse box, and says the replacement part is no longer available through Ford. I've found a couple online, but it looks like there are no wiring harnesses and have cut wires. Has anyone removed/replaced the fusebox in the engine compartment? Are there wiring harnesses or do you need to cut the wires, and if so to install a new/used one do you have to splice the wires. Also anyone know where I can find wiring diagrams of of the wiring under the hood that connects to the fusebox? Thanks in advanced!
