So.. there are few old stock sources and most of the after market stuff is way off. Uhual didnt have anything...their f600 stuff is getting sparce
I did find a dana 20 shift boot that is close in size so I ordered one up for the ebrake # 5353263.. Ill let everyone know how they fit... about 16.00
Shifter boots are easy.. if you cant find a new old stock.. great.. I have one but I want three so all my f600s have nice new boots... there are plenty of choices out there that will easily cover the hole in a sano manner
I like this one
Dorman 924-5405 Shift Boot
Its huge.. but will easily do the job.. about 25.00
way better than 60 plus dollars for repos.. that arent exact fit...
Ill report on the results so everyone can have some value options
thanks

I do have thAt dang parts manual but it takes a ford parts guy to read it...
Ok.. brake lever boot
This is what Im using.. a dana 20 boot.. note how close it is.. so close it could be a clone.. except better made and more heavy duty rubber.. about 16.00 Crown automotive part number J5353263
The original is on the right (obviously) the new dana 20 boot on the left.. the trim ring is on it and fit perfectly... the picture is a little misleading.. they are actually very close in size with the new boot being slightly longer.. but that extra length is hidden under the trim ring... it will make an excellent seal

MEASURING THE FACTORY BRAKE BOOT is as follows
8 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide,, tip to tip and width to width
The screw holes are 3 3/8 inches wide center to center
and 7 1/2 inches long center to center...
Yes they are available old stock (limited),, and one of the parts numbers is very reasonable,, the others are from expensive nos places.. 45.00 and up..
