Hey guys new user here liking the forum so far . Anyways ive had a problem with my ,2001 F150 Supercab, one of my back doors on the driver side for a few months now is stuck. The door refuses to open ,when the handle is pulled the door pops, as if it is opening but the top part appears to be jammed or not releasing. I have come to the conclusion that it is a problem with a rubber piece in the mechanism that has worn over time.

I was wondering if any of y'all had any problems like this? If so what do you recommend I do to fix this. Thanks for any help

 

More than likley it is the uper cable.

 

After searching the web some more I think your right. Though I wont know for sure until tomorrow or later this week when I have time to look for myself. Anyways thanks for the suggestion . I'll post the fix if it works.

Is it both handles or just one? I had an issue where the rod for the inside handle came detached from the latch, but it fell down on to the magnet of speaker and i would pop when you pulled the handle from where is got stuck. The outside(covered by the front door) handle still worked fine.
