I never have anybody in my truck...still would not have anything but a 4 door short bed. Turning radius may not be as good as a shorter one but it's not very bad either. It turns sharper than my old single cab long bed Chevy. And it's a damn truck. The super cab isn't going to turn like a Honda Civic either.

If nothing else take the seat out and call the back a tool box. I'd take a truck with a tool box like that before a long bed with a box in the bed any day.

I love my super cab. I rarely have anyone in the back seat and if I do I have them sit on the passenger side. Fitting in the garage was huge for me. Even with the plow on during winter months.

That is wrong. The regular cab truck is the shortest wheel base and the shortest overall length.

I finally got it ,there are 3 spring clip thingies at the top you have to compress with a skinny screwdriver to release the top then it just pulls out and up.

Correct.

Regular Cab Long Bed = 137"
Super Cab Short Bed = 142"

Hmm. I didn't need to do use tools with mine. Of course the one time I took it off by accident the other time I just slid it up. Maybe the way you did it is the right way to take it off.
