Momma Got An Upgrade

10 year anniversary deserved a 10 year upgrade. Drove to Texas and surprised her with a 2010 Eddie Bauer Expedition EL. Sold her 2000 with 120,000 miles in one day. This new one had 42,000 miles with Ford Certified Ford Warranty.

I kinda kick myself for getting rid of her old one. It was paid for, low mileage and had all the bells and whistles. Airraid intake, Flowmaster catback system, Sony indash DVD/Nav, front/rear cameras, kenwood excelon speakers, 10" mtx thunderform in the back, 5-channel amp, remote start alarm with phone control, power window roll up, heated seats and rear defrost hooked up. The list went on.

I will say the audio system in this one has better "thump" than the older one's factory sub but it's not as smooth and hard as the aftermarket system that she had. Soon I'll be having my hands on it. We already miss the navigation so I'll probably be installing something in it. Trying to talk my Kenwood rep into giving me a dealer special for one. I have already installed a Compustar remote start/alarm with Drone Mobile phone control on it. I even tied it into the door keypad so she can arm and disarm with the keypad or even start it with the factory fob. She always tells me "leave my truck alone" but she knows I cant. Next thing is probably a ReadyLift upgrade so we can put some 35s under it. I want to have some wheels powder coated black with tan accents to match the truck and ditch some of the chrome on it. She has given me a thumbs up to do something like that. I don't like how low it sits.
