Rough Idle,sluggish

My 6.0 has 73k miles factory stock, I'm the original owner. Now has a erratic idle and seems sluggish. No m.i.l. I change Engine oil every 5500 miles.I have changed Fuel filters every 3rd oil change.I'm wondering if may have got some bad fuel and need to change out filters. My question is why do auto parts stores have such a drastic price difference in filters.Napa for example 21.95 for cheap and 92.95 for Gold Filters. Is there really that much difference?

Yes there is. Only use OEM filters, or Racor. Filters are cheap compared to replacing a motor.

The only way to correctly determine your idle and running problems is with something like a ScangaugeII or something similiar to read various sensors on the motor.

I buy my filters online from here for a good price. $35.75 for both fuel filters & $13.95 for the oil filter. (and they are the correct ones to use. Racor brand is cheaper and is the company that makes the Motorcraft fuel & oil filters)

I don't know if you have Advance Auto Supply in your area but they are pretty reasonably priced for OEM Filters. If you order online, there is usually a discount code that you can use to get 10-15% off. Then you can drive in and pick up at the nearest location. The last time I bought OEM fuel filters for $39.19.

Hope that helps.
