2005 f-250 5.4 not enough power?
#21
Speaking of superchargers....I have not been able to find one single company that makes a kit for the 5.4L in a F250. I have an 05 with 6in lift, 20in Fuel wheels, 37's Kumho, had all coil packs changed, all plugs changed, K&N air filter, still stock 3.73 gearing, and it has 137,000 miles. Every time I bring up supercharger on here everybody tells me to forget it as an option and go to 4.88 gearing. I'm not trying to climb rocks offroad or anything but I would like more lowend from red light to red light around town (not for racing either, just everyday driving) and I would like my truck to hold 70mph without me having to constantly give it more and more gas to keep it there when highway traveling. I figured a supercharger was my best bet but can't find one.

That's because gears are the underlying issue. Why not spend 2000$ and fix the problem instead of 5000+ to put a bandaid on it? And no one makes them for the superduty, so you'd need to get one for the f150 and adapt most parts and potentially run a f150 ecu witha completely custom tune.
Now, I agree that he should be changing the gearing on the truck since 37s with 3.73s and a 5.4 isn't a winning combination.
ProCharger Truck Supchargers
Procharger makes a kit for the 3V F-150. There will be some work required but running an f150 ECU? LOL Any time you add forced induction you should have a custom tune anway. The PCM in his truck is more than capable of handling boost.
