Do you guys see the 'end game' for this project as yet? I mean, things like the shows you want to attend that you want to show it publicly, and whether it'll see any long(er) distance road trips?
Are the additions and upgrades still being dreamed up or are you satisfied that you're getting close to having Granpa's truck completed as it is?
Finally, is the same list of upgrades and options schedulled for SuperBronco?
I believe you should incorporate so many similar trinkets in that build again, and as many more as you can think up.
You must have a great supply of junk yard trucks available in the desert that provide inventory for you to survey for existing parts/components and new ideas...
We just got access to the very first U-Pick this year which has provided access to so many vehicles. This access stirs up ideas and allows us to jump start our future projects by being able to scour vehicles for parts as well as bits & pieces.
For the past 20 years or so, local junk yards wouldn't allow visitors to roam the yard freely or remove parts. One was always guided to their parts vehicle to assess the part needed and a yard worker removed the part. Insurance liability was always the culprit denying people access and freedom to junk yard inventory.
I hope U-Pick's make a huge dent in junk yard restrictions.
As for your build quality & component details - simply awesome! Keep updating your builds and please keep posting - very inspiring stuff!
Oh, one final thought: maybe you could find time on some of your junk yard visits to show pics of the inventories of trucks (big & small) to show us what you are able to access and look over...
Again, thanks for the inspiration. It's nice to see other dreamers & doers putting all these ideas together and sharing with others who dream the same dreams...

We plan on going to shows and we plan on taking trips. I want to drive the hell out of this truck. We overbuilt it so we could enjoy it.
Upgrades are always being dreamed up and we constantly change our minds on what we do. At the same time we know how we ultimately want the finished product.
Super Bronco will have many of the same or similar upgrades but with an obvious emphasis to be tactical and off-road.
We constantly go to the pic a part yards in Las Vegas and Henderson but recently we haven't found many Dentside trucks at all. When we do find a Dentside they are picked over if we don't get to them first.
Right now there is only one Dentside between the two yards and there isn't much left of it.
Most of the parts we have are from the past three years of junkyarding, eBay, and craigslist. We did a lot of parts gathering before we started the rebuild.

Mock up. Under dash controls. 1979 Mustang Fog Lamp Switch.
Anyone wanna sell me BRAKE PEDAL TRIM???
1968 Mustang seat tracks on the 1979 Bronco Low Backs. Before we had stationary brackets this lowered the seats a bit and allows for seat adjustment.
Metal firewall pass through. For wires and hood release cable. Clean up firewall and give wire tuck look.
Upper shot of pass through.
