We have almost the same project going on! Mine is just coming along wayyyyyy slower, Lol. Where did you get your header flanges from? I have the aluminum SCJ heads going on mine so that makes finding headers that will fit even more of a challenge! Truck is looking great, I think I may go start working on mine again... one day.

A truly awesome build. I love that yellow. Will there be flat black stripes?

Nice work. Did you fill the blower motor hole in the firewall?

If you did, I'm interested to hear how you did this.

I've got a 79 F150 cab w/ the blower motor hole for AC... Not planning on using that old archaic AC system.

Start at #111 (permalink or post number) on Page 8 for the photo essay on this. I took a slightly different approach creating an aluminum plate that bolts in place of the huge plastic air handler box. See that here.

Fantastic link. I'll definitely be following your thread.

Quick question... what did you do with the heater hoses? Connect them to each other so it just circulates on its own?

Yes, I'm just cutting the heater out of the loop until I decide on a more modern heating and air conditioning solution. I'll be interested in seeing how this build approaches this objective. I've learned a lot from it so far and expect that to continue.
