No, I think "west coast" mirror mount on the top and bottom of the door.
Type 2,3,11 and 12.

Thanks redroad
THose mirrors look great and I'm sure they're excellent for towing, but I don't think I would be able to put my truck in the garage wiht them on. The mirrors I have are clearly a much later design and you can pull them in so they fold in close to the body. But the west coast ones look so much better on these trucks

If you are worried about garage clearance the west coast junior may be your best bet .. I think they can be made to fold back ..

If you like the Type 9, it folds in. My dad's got them on his Highboy. They were seized in place but I hit a road sign on the highway and broke the one loose.

Some new (used) parts arrived today. A new transmission/crossmember mount and a proportioning valve bracket. My buddy also welded in the framesaver washer to my body mount.

I'm still on the fence abot the whole D60 thing. I will never run any tire larger than 35" (33" will probably be more like it) and other than some occasional trail rides, I won't do any serious 'wheeling'. Of course, I want to strengthen my D44 while I have it apart, so would these be good http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-F250-Dana-44-Lifetime-Front-Chromoly-Axle-Shaft-Kit-78-79-w-Spicer-D44113-/390468966885?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae9c399e5&vxp=mtr?

“The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

Shop around when it come to axle replacement time...I posted a option a while back.

Thanks Rich. I forgot about that link you sent me for EastCoast Gear Supply. I'll write that down. I'm still a ways off from needing axles at this point. :P

A fellow FTE member used them and seems to be real happy. Sometimes the best price is not the best product...the old adage of "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

These are the motor mount brackets that my 351W was sitting on. The one with the circle has a wallowed-out hole. I noticed when that there was a piece of steel attached to the motor mount that looked like it may have been welded on to solve this issue. Am I correct in understanding that the 'teardrop' hole on the other mount and that this should be corrected on the circled one?

For some reason, I thought that I read somewhere that these were the 300 I-6 mounts and they would cause the 351W to sit an inch or so too high. Did I read that correctly?

I know that if I switch to SBF mounts, my 300 will sit an inch lower so I'm sure that's a fair assumption.

Thanks trozei-
Do you know if the mounts in my picture are for a 300 I-6, and if so, should I look into getting a set of SBF mounts and where would I fid them? It's a bit confusing to me b/c theses trucks never had a 302 with a 4X4 and I read somewhere else that the 302 2WD mounts are completely different animals.

I bought a set of steering knuckles off of eBay that were already machined for the cross over steering. Plus, they were a lot less rusty than mine (esp. the driver side). I noticed that as I unpacked them, the steering stop bolt on the driver side is snapped (See last pic with red circle). Is that a problem?
