4R100 TRANSMISSION

Hi
I bought a 2000 E350 and the transmission in it is missing. After I did some research I've learned that it had the 4R100 tranny with tag YC2P-EA.

My question is this, does any 4R100 fit it? What does the tag number mean?

I know the code on the sticker on the door for the gas 4R100 is "E", so if I find a E350 from 99-03 with that code on it, would it fit?

BTW.
Not that it matters but it runs on CNG.

The transmission needs to be from the same engine as your van has. If you get a trans from a pickup it will work IF it is a 4x2 pickup. The 4x4 transmission is different.

I did buy a donor van to take the tranny out of, both vans have the 5.4 v8 but the tranny from the donor van has different wire harness and wont plug in.
It fit perfect but wont wire up.
