Yeah that all makes sense. I think I'll put the charged filter on next time I change oil like I planned.

Thatll be fine Thomas. I ran fleet charged pre charged and put a charged coolant filter on.

You are welcome. Its curious that the OP (you) in 64 posts, you only participate in 4 Maybe because we hijack your thread.

Reading all the comments about the pre and no pre charged coolants and filters, I think that all of us should use test strips periodically, to check the SCA levels. I have the problem that here I only can buy a bottle of many test strips and they have a limited time of "life" and they are not cheap.

I use test strips and have a bottle of additive.

I do not feel the thread was hijacked.

If I remember I will bring mine to RRE. I didn't know they had a short shelf life.

I need to check mine..I never have...just dump some fw16 i n once in a while and drain and refill between.mostly I brake junk and replace Lol

When did you buy them?. Im not sure, but seems that they has a one year shelf life. IDK.
Are you sure, IF you rembember, you are going to bring them to RRE? IF so, Im going to plann my travel to RRE ASAP and there buy to you a couple of strips, before they left . LOL (JK).

I have some old test strips, at least a couple of years old. If anyone would like them to take to rre to compare with newer ones that are not expired, it could be interesting. Well just send me a pm and i'll send you what i have.

I will have to order the elbows from Jegs or ??? They are not available here. It seems my US shopping list will keep gettin larger!
