I have a 1995 F150 XL. I bought an LMC Starlite bumper to replace one that was damaged by a hit and run driver.
Here is the rub. I lost the directions to mount the brackets and bumper. I called LMC. I asked for directions, but they said all they had was for the brackets. I waited while they sent them, and when the directions arrived, they were for a Chevy Truck. Not mad at Chevy truck guys, not mad at LMC. After all, I lost the directions.
Has anyone done this install? If so, can you tell me which way the brackets mount? One side is notched, the other side is flat, and looking at the stock brackets is confusing, as they are two piece, not a one-piece like the LMC brackets.
