Here is one photo of the paper invoice from IH
There 2 sets of rings. One is listed as SEAL and
that is the one in question the other is listed as RING
and that is the O-ring for the EGR cooler to intake
connection. The last item is one of the metal EGR
gaskets.
IH paper Invoice for intake O-ring or Donut.

Ok got some stand pipes and dummy plugs to show you along
with my home-made tool for pulling a stuck lower pipe.
The tool is made with a 1/4" 20TPI cap screw, a shirt chunk
of 3/8" fuel line hose, 2 rivnut (you can use aluminum tubing"
and a 1/4" 20TPI finger nut with an open back so the bole can
stick thru as you turn it down.
Also I got some photos of the D-ring 2 sizes but it is hard to get a good photo
and show the flat back side of the ring. Also the new stand pipe uses 4 rings + 4
white teflon backers. This is the old type so no teflon backers.

They sometimes do. It's just a chance.. and you never know
if they will or not. The D-ring are stiff when new and if they
have been in place long they might. But you can also pull
them out with a set of needle nose pliers. Because you replacing
you don't have to worry about nicking them.
The biggest reason I made the tool is that the Ford tool is crazy priced.

Well this is the second 6.0, I bought a 06 a year old with 60000 miles on it. Had all the typical 6.0 issues from 70 -90k but it's probably was my favorite truck I have had. That's saying something since this truck is number 74. Hopefully this will be a good choice. I will try to post some pics up if I can figure out how.
