Had been kinda calm, a bit of rain, as in .84 inches.. Going to get a quick hit here pretty soon, (hope that tornado stays to the north), predicted for more overnight...
This isn't our wettest June, we had 1993 and 2008 to top it.
Been nice not having the drive, still don't have a lot of time to do what I want, wrapped up in still taking car of the wife most of the time...
I can relate to the taking care of a family member, spent a lot of time helping my uncle that got me into farming with untreatable brain cancer, I don't reget a minute of the time. I hope they figure something out to help, you've been though a lot already.
Well, yesterday wasn't such a good day for her. She had a headache much worse than usual, to the point she couldn't really see much. It is better today. These headaches affect her memory, so sometimes she doesn't remember if she has taken her meds or even that she just talked to somebody. She may remember it again later, but there are lots of lapses like that. I am paying to keep her previous insurance going, as it is well worth it when the copay is commonly $0 for most of the meds. Working on long term disability, but they take their sweet time getting it approved.
Roger, I can understand what you are going thru, my dad was hurt on the job almost 3 years ago, and my mom has been keeping their insurance going for him this whole time as the company has been fighting him the whole time. Even though he can barely walk now becuase of it. Thoughts are with you and your wife
