1966 4x4

Ive been a long time lurker here but decided to join today. Ive got a 1966 4x4, I bought it to bring it back to its original configuration. I think the frame is a 1960 maybe? But id like to know for sure what year the frame is so I can find a cab. The cab on there is a 66 f100 and the box I think would be correct for the frame I think. It has a Dana 24 T case, 60 rear axle and maybe 44 front axle? It also has a battery box under the passenger side of the cab. Ill try and get some pics up if I can, but any help on the year of the frame would be appreciated. Thanks

1966 F250 4WD has leaf spring front suspension, 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle, Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 front axles, the cab has a step visible when the doors are opened and if a Styleside, uses the 1957/60 bed.

1966 F100 4WD has coil spring front suspension, 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle, uses the same cab and Styleside bed as 1965/66 F100/250 2WD

The frame vin might be on the right rail in the engine compartment.

Kool looking 4x4 I've always been a sucker for a slick. seems to be a true 4x4 from the way it sounds with the battery on the side of frame with access panel inside on cab floor. Also the wrong bed. Post up more interior and underhood pics when you can welcome to the forums.

Doesn't look like you have an access lid on your passenger floor board to get to the battery is there one? Or is my screen just hard to see clearly? Should have a cover like you can see in this one in this pic.

C1TZ-8101619-A .. Battery Access Cover-located on passenger side floor pan / Obsolete

1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350/1100 / 1963/69 N/NT/T500/1000 / 1966 F250 4WD / 1967/69 F800/1000.

1965/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD use the same cab (no cab step), the battery is located in the engine compartment.

If you post your vin that would help
Does the frame have a hump at the rear axle? Or is it flat over rear axle
