Once you get some rest I would hope you would post a photo journal of all the items you were able to score. Sounds like a great day (minus the breakdown).

I've been meaning to update this thread with pictures, but haven't had the chance until now. After coming home on Saturday night around 11pm, I left for Phoenix on Sunday morning around 5am.

Here are the pictures of what we picked up.... and as Kevin recently found out, the Panel truck makes a great storage/haul vehicle.

Ilya,
PM me on a price for an air cleaner to fit my newly acquired F-6 truck and I also think I need a right hand exhaust manifold for the small V8 (do I need a picture for reference)?

Love the pictures. All them non-rusted parts. It's the stuff dreams are made of for folks like me.

Peter Bird,
You are welcome to hang out up here if you come to the US.
Nobody has to twist my arm to go for a road trip adventure. I won't want to drive 10 miles to go to a family birthday party, but will drool over a 600 mile round-trip trek to see a swap meet and look at old car parts. makes you feel like a teenage kid with nothing better to do all over again.

Before you attack that Nicson with sandblasting and paint, get some phosphoric acid, dilute it, and scrub the intake with it using a small stainless brush. Rinse well (baking soda) when done.

Co-pilot on the Long Trip For Rusty Gold!

Man that was a long day!!! But I just cannot thank Ilya enough times for helping me pick up the restored 226 Flathead 6 Banger. Totally excited to get it and I cannot wait to get it in the truck!! It was a long day but priceless for the fact that we met several great people, picked up several gold nuggets of rusty gold along the way, learned all about Sunflowers and Almonds (met a rancher that just could not stop talking!), stocked up on stuffed Olives at the Olive Pit in Corning Ca, and got a great tan waiting for the trailer to get repaired!!

Long road trip but on the other hand a priceless experience!!
