Yeah, I found that out about the nuts the hard way! LOL! That little tidbit known before hand coulda saved me a little frustration and gruntin.

I first drove it around a little with factory tune and there was a little bit of exhaust smoke when I drove off from a stop and if I stepped on it at normal hiway speed...the high end torq was quite impressive...Driving along at 55 and starting a steep climb, a little bit of foot on pedal and it just launched right on up the hill.. I already did that, but just seemed a bit quicker and easier.

The first time I plugged the Banks Automind in and attempted to install a tune, it of course writes the stock file and stores it. Then normally it would ask what tune I wanted to install but instead gave me a message that the original stock tune had been changed and it locked me out...I thought "crap, now my Automind won't work" The next morning I tried it again and this time I did not get that message and was able to install the Supersport tune.

With the Banks Sport tune, I could not make it smoke at all and it notably increased the low end torque. I wouldn't say it launched me into the nieghbors yard, but then again, the nieghbor is half a mile away. It does get me across an intersection alot quicker with quicker spool up.

I guess I will just get used to the louder blow dryer sound. Its better than going back to "undelete"!
