Show You Tow Set Up

Moving day, one of several trailers:
unloading at the new place - moving in the Florida summer is not necessarily wise
Before WD bars were hooked up
I THOUGHT it was heavy...
- Truck was 60 lbs over GVWR
- Trailer was 970 lbs under its GVRW (not including the massive tongue weight, which was probably more than that...)
- Rig was 1360 lbs under GCWR (I could have loaded more stuff, lol)
The whole thing rode beautifully and reinforced why I have a Super Duty when most of the time I could get by with a Prius, and the V10 was begging for more weight - although it would have taken less time to drain the fuel if I parked it and drilled holes in the gas tank.

How far back do you want? I'll post the last few iterations
and hopefully about to change again !
Wife just agreed we can semi full time when she retires - Yippee !!!
yes, we don't know if we are coming or going --- SHE's the reason for so many changes !!!
(but she's also the reason I can joke so much and am 'financially stable' , so...)

Just curious - how come no weight on the drive axle ?
I was weighed at Exit 1 in GA on my way into Florida - actually get my weight there each time - 2 trips in so far - one more to go and I will be done.
NO scanner set up yet - so my weights were:
07/31/14 04/02/14
Steer Axle 3140 3200
Drive Axle 5720 5980
Trailer Axle 9100 8340
Gross Weight 17,960 17,520
The SD handled the weight easily - 20 foot long trailer - 8.5 feet wide and 7 foot tall

djm- The guy at the scale didn't line me up to get each axle separate, just truck and trailer
This was at the Belleview exit just south of Ocala, I was moving from Gainesville to Clermont this time, a short haul but still a 1/2 tank of gas. The other trips were with my trusty 7x16 trailer.
Welcome to the area! We are in oven mode until about Oct 1 when we turn the heat down a little - stay cool inside until then or bring some northern air with you in your next trailer load.
When I drove back and forth Orlando to Atlanta a lot I usually stopped at that GA exit, in fact got my new 24' trailer from a dealer near there 2 months ago. This load made me glad I got the heavier axles and extra height.
btw nice rig - my first pickup was red & black like that

This is my SeaRay 260sxl and boat & trailer 8.5k when full of fuel & water maybe alittle bit more with gear onboard. With Blackie/ E99 F350 7.3 DRW it is a dream to tow and launch this boat. Mind you I get 15.7 mpg with 8.5k and 12 mpg with 12k at 65mph which isn't too bad for the old truck.
Also empty I get 18mpg on the highway.

Ooooooh, I really liked that layout when we were looking for a 5th. Unfortunately, they had stopped making it and I couldn't find anything locally used.
Great layout for 2 people and 1 bike! Loved the excellent use of the garage as a den/theater.
More pics please!
