Need some help and or ideas why my 2008 f250 6.4 diesel motor want prime back. What started it fuel gauge stuck between half and quarter unknown to me till it ran out of fuel. Added 8 to 10 gallons of fuel also put fuel in the filter on top of motor. Tried the priming sequence found on line by just turns over tried this more than once. Tried bleeding air off with bleed off have straight fuel coming threw it but still want start. Tried a gas soaked rag to prime hoping as last ditch effort but only ran off the gas fumes a minute and quit. Now there is a code p0087 coming up low pressure to fuel rail. Tried to clear it just to see if it was from earlier and had just not seen it but no luck. I've tried all I know to do does or has anybody else had this problem? Trying to stay away from dealership for repairs or something I'm just not trying. Thanks for any help anyone can give.
