I ordered mine on 8/29 and just picking it up this weekend. Its been a long wait!
Steve,
A belated thank you for the link to etis and where to find the lookup. I was out of town deer hunting and failed to get back to you. I did try it and it shows a build date of 30.11.0002. According to Crystal it is still in production so I figure it will update next week.

Congratulations, David! I know how you feel, my F350 Platinum Ruby Red was ordered on 10/28, one month and a day ago, and is scheduled to hit the dealer on/about 12/16.

Congrats on the truck. I've got a tux black on black coming too. The wait is killing me. I ordered mine 9/18, it was built on 11/18. Now I'm just waiting for it to get delivered to my dealer, which is only 200 miles away from the truck plant.

My original ETA was 11/26, then 11/28, then 11/29 and it's still not there. I think the transport driver OD'd on turkey and forgot to deliver my truck. Really hoping I can take delivery on Monday so I can take advantage of the extra $1000 black friday cash from Ford.

GunnyMike,

I retired in '04. I was in the airwing and retired out of Beaufort, SC. What did your brother do?
He was at Camp Lejeune in NC when he retired. He was in the Logistics/MotorT.

Good Evening all Ye Fine Folks.......

Great Trucks on order..........

The Shipping process is frustrating for me........the Truck just sits and sits waiting for a full transport to move 200 miles.........

If there ever is another order.....I will order from the largest dealer in the region.... It seems everything happens twice as fast......

But Life is good and getting better..........

Roy, my guess is tomorrow should be your day... is the weather affecting delivery?

I hear you about the shipping logistics being frustrating...
I would think even more so being in the mountainous states during winter time even for the big-three...
Last year about this time - I was trying to help a friend get a car shipped from Minnesota to Everett Washington and it cost almost twice as much after Nov-1st as it would be in warmer months..
Because the shippers would not take the northern route through the mountains and had to go all the way to the southern end of the mountains, then turn north to head up the left-coast..

We have "normal" weather for this region. Some snow...some cold....some warm. Nothing that stops normal traffic.

The dealer tells me....The trucks/cars to be transported can wait as long as 3 weeks waiting for a full transport truck. It is ALL about Maximum Proft for the company that has the contract to ship the vehicles. NO...NO...NO consideration for the customer .....

That is not a factor in this case.
The Truck got here via Train....The Truck was off-loaded from the Rail Car on Monday afternoon.......And a week later is still siting. Only a 4 hr trip up good roads to the dealer.

I just believe there should be a BALANCE..........Yes, keep shipping cost down. Yes ship in a TIMELY manner.

Don't ship via C-130 over night.
BUT.....from KY to the MT Dealer shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks!!

OK .......my rant & rave is over .......for now....

One thing I found out (According to my Dealer) The dealer is almost totally out of the loop. We talked last night and I was told that Crystal gives me more information than the Dealer gets...... They didn't even know there was a "Crystal" on FTE.

Roy,
I am also pulling for you to get the call today. I think you have been very patient and they need to figure out how to get that truck rolling to you vs making up excuses why it is still sitting.... They should have been up front with you when you ordered and said you know we are a little dealer and your truck will not receive priority shipping to us.
