I read that there are over 20,000 trucks sitting in Louisville waiting shipment so I dont doubt it

I'm trying to juggle the sale of my '11 and time to delivery of the '15 (which supposed to be end of this week). I'm getting stressed out thinking about Gerry and his rather late delivery. I'm getting several "serious buyer" and "cash buyer" offers, but they want the truck Monday. I feel like I am selling a house before the new one is done and worried about where I will sleep at night.

Don't turn down a good price. Sell it and rent a vehicle if need be until the new one arrives.

That sounds like a good plan. Even with all the traffic of people saying they are serious and have cash, nobody has given me any money yet. I have one guy that wants to meet at the bank in the morning with a lower than I like, but an acceptable offer. We will see........

I cleaned out all my tools, tool box and personal junk from the truck. Must have been close to 1000#,

I'm happy to help, Jesse4812! Give me a shout when you're ready for another update.

I wish the ordering process made more sense, Jesse4812 ordered his on May 6 and has a week of 7/21 production. I ordered my Lariat on 3/26 but dealer is saying production the week of 7/28. You would think the older orders would come first...

Crystal gave me an update this morning - my truck was originally scheduled to be delivered to the dealer on 6/28, as of this morning it has been bumped to 6/26, subject to change. I hope there are no changes as I sold my 2011 this afternoon. The new truck was built 5/30.

THANKS CRYSTAL!!

'subject to change' are the key words there

It may have to do with what's been ordered on the truck. I'm getting a King Ranch but I didn't order a moon roof. Maybe that's why it's getting built sooner. Might have to do with your dealer's priority or what phase the moon is in. It'll be here before you know it.

I won't say that I hate moonroofs or I would be posting in your "I hate" thread.. I don't like them however.. Up north here, they tend to start leaking after a couple of winters and I think I opened the one in my 2002 Avalanche a total of twice in the 12 years I owned it.. No moon roof in my new truck either..

So, I placed my order on 6-3, not word one from the dealership since. Is that unusual?
