heater hose.

Okay was changing #4 plug and coil pack this morning on my mother's expedition when I noticed that the coil pack was wet. The driver side heater hose came apart it my hand were it plugs into the heater core.
It broke off flush to the metal fitting on the hose. What has to be done to replace that piece? Or does the heater core have to be replaced?

Just done something like this

If its like my 98 f150 it has those quick connects on the hoses that are a pain in the butt to get off. You need a special tool to get them off. What i ended up doing was breaking the clips off and replacing the hoses. I used regular hose clamps to connect the hoses back on. If i had the money i would have went and got new OEM hoses with the quick connects.

That's how it was. I got 1 off but the other won't budge, ended up cutting and looping the hose for now
